BIO of Mark Israel:

Mark Israel is a Talent Acquisition Leader in NYC. Currently as being Director of Talent Acquisition for Barnes & Noble.com, he’s responsible for meeting the talent needs of a Company that has experienced enormous growth over the last two years.

He holds a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Purdue University and has built his career in Corporate Recruiting with such companies as 1-800-FLOWERS.com, Bloomberg and Ernest & Young.

Since 1994, Technical Recruiting has always been the focus area of any assignment whether as an individual Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Team Leader. A self-proclaimed “Software Engineer wannabe,” Mark has a passion for great software and the artists/scientists who create it.

Who is Stuart Burton?

Stu is Executive Vice President at Concepts in Staffing, a staffing agency in New York. He has been with CIS for more than 37 years responsible for strategic planning, staff development, infrastructure, budgets, training, sales, marketing and hiring.

 

ORGANIZERS:

 

TABID was founded as a self-supporting and non-profit organization in New York by a group of businessmen and professionals to facilitate commerce between the US and Turkey and to establish partnerships between Turkish and American Businessmen. 

Established by a number of volunteers who wish to use their experience and encourage their contacts in the USA and Turkey to work for this goal, TABID also believes that in order to perform more efficient business activities in the region, the USA also needs to establish stronger business relations with Turkey – a country determined to enter European Union and has cultural and historical ties with the Middle Eastern and Central Asian Countries.

 

NYC Turquoise IT is a meetup group where IT professionals in New York area come together for networking and fun purposes. The group had been organizing Entpreneurship Panels, Career Panels, technical seminars, networking and entertaining events.
